The college is situated in a beautiful location with a rural setting flanked by the National Highway 49 of Madurai Rameswaram Road in the south and the Seashore in the north. The college functions with the aim of catering to the needs of the under privileged people of Ramanathapuram district destined to have been backward for several centuries and even after independance.
